| Mike Collis, editor of the Iquitos Times and founder of the Great River Amazon Raft Race, had the idea to build what has become the Amazon Golf Course. His dream was to promote tourism in Iquitos, Peru, and to bring golf to the Peruvian people of this charming city in the rainforest. Some said it could not be done, but over 60 investors from 14 countries and many supporters, have helped turn Mike's dream into reality. We did it. We want to share our Amazon Golf Course with you.
